1. About these terms
This website (the “Site”) is operated by Widad DXB Style (“Widad”, “we”, “us”), a modest fashion and fragrance store based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. By browsing the Site or placing an order you agree to these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy, our Shipping & Delivery policy and our Returns & Exchanges policy. Please read them before ordering. We may update these terms at any time; the version published on the Site when you place an order applies to that order.
2. Orders
All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. After you place an order you will receive an order confirmation email; this confirms that we have received your order, not that it has been accepted. Acceptance takes place when your order is dispatched. We may refuse or cancel an order — for example if a product is out of stock, a price or description was published in error, or a payment could not be verified — and will refund any amount already paid.
You must be at least 18 years old to place an order, and the details you provide (name, delivery address, phone number and email) must be accurate and complete. We may contact you by phone, WhatsApp or email to confirm your order or delivery details.
3. Prices and VAT
All prices are shown in UAE Dirhams (AED) and include 5% Value Added Tax where applicable. Delivery charges are shown separately before you confirm your order. Orders delivered outside the UAE are not subject to UAE VAT; any customs duties or import taxes charged by the destination country are the customer’s responsibility. Prices may change without notice, but changes do not affect orders already confirmed.
4. Payment
The payment methods available to you are shown at checkout. Cash on Delivery is available for deliveries within the UAE only; please have the exact amount ready for the courier. Where online payment is offered, it is processed by a licensed payment provider and we never store your card details. An order paid online is processed only after the payment has been authorised.
5. Delivery
We deliver across the UAE, to the GCC countries and internationally. Delivery times, charges and conditions are set out in our Shipping & Delivery policy. Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by public holidays, weather, customs clearance or courier delays. Please make sure someone is available to receive the parcel at the address given.
6. Returns and exchanges
You may return or exchange eligible items within 7 days of delivery in accordance with our Returns & Exchanges policy. For hygiene reasons, opened fragrances, bakhoor and dukhoon, and jewellery cannot be returned unless they are faulty. Sale items are final unless faulty. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under UAE consumer protection law.
7. Products
We do our best to display our products accurately. Colours may look slightly different depending on your screen, and handmade or embroidered items may show small variations, which are part of their character. Measurements in our Size Guide are indicative; if you are between sizes we recommend choosing the larger size.
8. Your account
If you create an account you are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. Please tell us immediately if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
9. Intellectual property
All content on the Site — text, photographs, logos, designs and graphics — belongs to Widad DXB Style or its licensors and may not be copied, reproduced or used commercially without our written permission.
10. Liability
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of the Site or from delays outside our reasonable control. Our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, except where the law does not allow such a limit.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of Dubai have jurisdiction over any dispute. We will always try to resolve any concern amicably first — please contact us.
